Your library is here to support how you learn, work, and explore. Inside, you’ll find free access to computers, Wi-Fi, printing, scanning, and faxing—along with helpful staff ready to assist. Online, the library extends even further with digital books, movies, language classes, and a wide range of learning resources you can access anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re tackling a project, picking up a new skill, or simply looking for something great to read or watch, the library has you covered.
Printing In-House
Print from any patron computer. Costs are $0.07 per page for black-and-white and $0.25 for color.
Print From Anywhere
Use Princh to locate the library’s printers and submit a print job from your own device. Click here for the print guide and instructions.
Faxing
Fax anywhere in the United States and Canada. We offer free resume faxing and printing.
Scanning
You can scan for free on our patron copier/printer.Computers & WiFi
Four public computers are available during open hours, and wireless internet is accessible on the building grounds 24/7.

Kanopy
Get free access to thousands of movies, all available by using your Alden District Library card and pin or password.

Michigan Activity Pass
Map Your Adventure! The Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) provides Michigan library cardholders the opportunity to discover and explore participating cultural destinations, parks, campgrounds, and recreation areas in the state at a discounted rate.
ReadMichigan
Explore a collection of regional eBooks with no wait lists or holds available to all Michigan residents or visitors anywhere within the state. Developed by the Library of Michigan, the collection has both fiction and non-fiction titles that include many past Michigan Notable Books selections, Michigan Field Guides, local histories of towns and cities across the state, poetry, and more. Read books online or through the BiblioBoard Library app.
