MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Alden District Library is to provide quality materials and services that fulfill the social, educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of the entire community in an atmosphere that is welcoming and respectful.

MORE ABOUT ALDEN DISTRICT LIBRARY

At the Alden District Library, we are able to offer friendly, small-town service while providing worldwide resources. Our collection includes a great selection of bestsellers, both fiction and non-fiction; videos on DVD; audio CDs; music CDs; large print, children’s and young adult books; and magazines.

Our online subscriptions to OverDrive’s Libby and Kanopy consist of thousands of items. We also allow patrons to access Transparent Language, where you can learn over 100 world languages.

Four public computers are available during open hours, and wireless internet access is available on the building grounds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You can reserve items using our online catalog.

We now feature free copying and FAXing of resumes and encourage the public to use the many Microsoft Business templates on our computers.
